About Me
My name is Tracey DaSilva. As of January 2021, I am a Masters of Health Studies student at Athabasca University. I am presently enrolled in my first course, Foundations of Health Systems in Canada, for which I am developing this ePortfolio.
In 2016, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at York University in Toronto, ON. Since 2017, I have been employed at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), located in Toronto, ON as a Registered Nurse (RN) on the Adult Neurodevelopmental Services, Brief Intervention Unit (ANS BIU), working with a Dual Diagnosis population; individuals living with an intellectual disability, namely Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) concurrent with a mental health challenge. In December 2020, the ANS BIU program closed. Now, my new journey at CAMH has led me to the Psychosis Recovery and Treatment Inpatient Unit under the larger umbrella of the Complex Care and Recovery Program as an RN and Team Lead.
In this ePortflio, I have selected the following aspects of my professional practice to share with you: Education & Experience, Credentials & Associations, Practice in Ontario, Mental Health Resources, Curated Class ePortfolios, and my Blog.
